Great Social Media Idea: Acceptance Letter Home Deliveries... w/ Dog!

In January, I wrote about an amazing social media project by Marquette University, in which they filmed their mascot hand-delivering acceptance letters to students. I love it then, and I love it now.

So it should come as no surprise that I absolutely adored this brilliant social media initiative from Butler University's adorable live bulldog mascot Butler Blue III, during which he live-tweeted going on a road trip and delivering acceptance letters to homes.

I mean... this is such #hesm gold that there's really not a lot for me to say about it. Like those truths Thomas Jefferson wrote about way back when, the brilliance and power of this project is self-evident. I mean, look:

Sometimes you've just got to tip your hat... and feverishly come up with ways to steal the idea, of course.

I can only imagine how fun and special it was for those prospective students to have Butler Blue III visit their homes and tell them the good news - job very well done on making some real memories for prospective students, Butler social media team!
